Why is there a drop in my temperature curve?

Strong drops in the temperature curve can be explained by the fact that the temperature on the skin under the patch drops sharply. This can happen, for example, when you go for a walk without a jacket and the wind is strong. Or when your is arm not next to your body for a longer period of time.
